Medikit was founded in 1992 to manufacture bags for the pre-hospital emergency care market. Since then Medikit has gone on to work with the defence forces, hospitals, emergency services, and industry on specific projects and products.

Medikit is one of the largest soft bag suppliers to Queensland Hospitals and Corrective Facilities as well as being sole supplier to the major gas products manufacturer in Australasia.
